I see that there are package deals for families of 4 but are there any for couples?

    Hi Kristie!
There are indeed discounts for any kind of party traveling to Walt Disney World. Disney World Special Offers and are both great places to check for discounts.  Mousesavers also has a section  that shows when and what type of discounts Disney World has issued historically.

Often discounts are shown for families of 4, but anyone can take advantage of the offer as long as it's during your travel dates. The most recent promotion offers a package for as little as $67 per person/per day (based on a family of 4), while a couple works out to $87 per person/per day.  The family will pay $1600 for the vacation while the couple will pay around $1100 for the same package.  As a couple you still can take advantage of the deal, it just costs more per a person because there are less people in your group to split the cost.

Sometimes you can save by not booking a package at all. Disney will sometimes offer discounts on room only reservations, so I take advantage of the room only discount and purchase my tickets separately.  Many workplaces offer discounted tickets so be sure to check with your employer,  AAA and also sell discounted tickets.   Just be careful that you purchase tickets from reputable vendor.  Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to help plan your next Disney vacation!
