I have a package booked for March 2022. There is 1 person in my party unsure if they will go. If they choose not to go, is it easy to change that person to another person who would replace them (they have a MDE account too)?

Hello, Karrie! Welcome back to planDisney, and thanks so much for stopping by to see us again!

I can see you’ve been working hard to plan a Disney vacation for next Spring! Thank you for allowing us to help you with your plans. As you’ve experienced, uncertainty with travel plans is common and frequent these days. Do not fear, as you should be able to make the changes you need without an issue! If you’d like to swap out one Guest for another, simply call Disney Reservations over the phone to make that change. Making sure that this individual is on your Friends & Family list within My Disney Experience will make the process that much smoother.

When it comes to making this change, the only potential concern is the Park Pass Reservations will not transfer to the new Guest. For this reason, it would be a good idea to make the change at least 1-2 months in advance so that you can be sure to avoid change fees and have the best chance of keeping the Park Pass Reservations that the rest of the Group has reserved.

Karrie, I hope that this information is helpful to you as you continue to make plans for your group! They are so lucky to have you at the helm. Meanwhile, check out the Disney Parks Blog for all the latest excitement and news from around the Disney Parks. And as always, do not hesitate to come in and see us if we can help in any other way!

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Clara
