What should we pack for a June visit?

    Hi Cynthia,

Your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation is already in sight! You will LOVE every memorable moment of it!

I suggest packing comfortable summer clothing that adheres to the Disney Theme Park Dress Code. It is absolutely imperative to pack good walking shoes! Shorts and t-shirts are perfectly acceptable attire for the entire family.

If you are traveling with little ones, please take a look at this AWESOME Disney Parks Blog entry and video. It offers the best vacation packing tips for your little ones!

I recommend checking the local weather report before leaving for the parks each day. Even though it is unlikely it will get cold in Orlando during the month of June, I would also suggest packing lightweight jackets (or hoodies) just in case.

Casual sundresses are very appropriate for the theme parks. Keep in mind that the Disney parks are a family-oriented environment, so please use your discretion and common sense.

Disney Mom Tip: Do pack one pair of strappy sandals, a dress, a nice skirt or a pair of Capri pants to go with a dressier shirt. If you visit one of the fabulous Disney Fine/Signature Dining locations, you will need to adhere to a specific dress code. There are also numerous bars and lounges throughout the Walt Disney World Resort, and you just might want to dress up a bit for those too.

Wishing you a most unforgettable visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
