Well hello there, Jennifer, and welcome aboard planDisney!
If I'm reading your arrival date correctly ... today is THE day you get to step aboard your Disney Cruise Ship! Hooray! It's time to celebrate!
While there is never a shortage of food on a Disney Cruise, I understand why it's nice to have a handful of your favorite snacks with you while you travel. It's always good to be prepared for when hunger strikes. The Disney Cruise Line provides
guidelines for bringing food onboard with you. You are welcome to bring snacks that are non-perishable and sealed in their original packaging. You may pack these snacks in either your checked luggage or the luggage you carry on the ship with you. Please keep in mind that whatever snacks you do bring on the ship and open must be consumed during your voyage. If you don't eat the snacks while onboard, you can take them off the ship as long as they are still unopened. Homemade, pre-cooked, or open packages of food are not permitted to be brought on the ship.
I hope that clears up any questions you have about snacks! When you are looking for a quick-bite onboard, I always recommend the spots near the pool deck. Soft-serve ice cream is always a welcome treat for me in the afternoon. Or if I'm looking for something quick and savory, I opt for a chicken tender or two. Something about those chicken tenders just tastes so good while eaten poolside on the cruise ship!
And don't forget to leave room for the
incredible dining options offered during meal times. If you want to treat yourself to some stellar service at either breakfast or lunch, check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to see which main dining room is open and serving these meals for the day. Or head to
Cabanas if you are looking for a faster meal option. You really can't go wrong!
Jennifer, have an amazing sailing filled with magic and memories! Say hi to Captain Mickey for me!
Bon Voyage,
Adrianna
