If I pack and bring a sandwich for my child to eat, is it ok for him to eat it at one of the Disney restaurants if my husband and I are ordering off the menu?

Hi Melissa! I am not sure Disney loves this idea of guests bringing in food to the restaurants but I have seen this happen at both table service and quick service location. In fact I have seen families bring their picnic lunches and all eat them at the outside tables at quick service spots. This makes it doubly hard  for the guests who are purchasing the meals to find seating but in your case you are not taking up space since you are ordering food for yourselves.

I understand that many restaurants don't have items on the children's menus that satisfy a picky eater or one who has to have certain items to eat. I would be discreet at your table and things should go ok. Explain to your wait server that your child needs this special food and order drink or dessert if that works for them. Then sit back and enjoy a great meal for yourself!
