Hello there, Mary. Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.
I am excited that you might be visiting
Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park and/or
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park during your upcoming
Walt Disney World vacation. I love the water parks and always make some time to visit them when it's great weather! If you are a Guest at any of the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels, I think you'll be happy to know that you will receive complimentary towels at the Water Parks when visiting. If you are a Guest of a different hotel, you'll be able to rent towels for a small fee or you can bring your own. Either way, you'll head over to the towel rental area to pick them up. Safety is always a priority at Walt Disney World and I am very happy to report that you'll be able to use complimentary lifejackets at both water parks and any of the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels when visiting the pool area. They are on a first come, first serve basis but there are always plenty to choose from.
At Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park,
Tike's Peak would be a great area for you to set up camp for the day. In this area you'll find miniature slides, pop up water jets and a great sandy area to play in. All perfectly age appropriate for your little one. At Disney's Typhoon Lagoon you'll also find a similar area called
Ketchakiddee Creek that I would suggest you hang out in during the day. It's nice to be set up somewhere that everyone can relax and these areas are it with a little one.
I hope this helps Mary. If you have any other questions, I'd love for you to come back and ask.
