When it comes to the
Disney Resorts Collection hotel refillable mugs, the design has changed over the years and I love the new options available to guests! In my past experience, the mugs have a little under 20 ounces, so the 30 ounce sling might be a bit big.
Now, if that sling has some sort of drawstring or way to shrink the size a bit, it could potentially work! The mugs also have this cute new Mickey Mouse-shaped lid on the top which will secure the contents of the mug, so if your sling somehow closes at the top, the mug will be a bit more secure. Also keep in mind each mug has a handle so that could fill in some of the gaps in your sling.
If you already have the sling, I suggest bringing it (if it doesn’t take up too much room in your luggage) and test it out on the first day or two. If it works, awesome! If it doesn’t work for any reason, Hakuna Matata, just leave it in your hotel room and hold the mug another way. In the past I’ve put my mug in my backpack or clipped it to the side of my bag once the liquid was gone. Do what’s easiest for you! Remember, the mugs can only be filled at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel and not in the Theme Parks.
