Hello! Owning several magicbands, I’d like to downsize. How do I unlink a magicband from my Disney account?

    Hi Alina!

I love that you called it downsizing!  If you decide that you would like to no longer keep some of your MagicBands active, you can easily change their status to inactive in your My Disney Experience account.  I like to keep several colors active so I have options depending on my mood or outfit.  Yes, I like to color coordinate my MagicBands with my clothes.  Ha!

To view all of your MagicBands, click on "My MagicBands and Cards" in your My Disney Experience account online by hovering over the "My Disney Experience"  link and populating the drop down box of options.  Click on the MagicBand that you would like to make inactive and click on the appropriate radio button.  You're all set!  If you would like to completely delete them from your account, you'll need to call the My Disney Experience, MagicBands and FastPass+ help line and a capable Cast Member will be able to do this for you.

You do have the option to decline receiving new MagicBands for future stays at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel so you won't keep collecting new ones if you don't want to.

    Have a magical day!
