We are both owners of DVC membership. I added my digital membership card. My husband's membership is not showing up and he cannot download his card. We followed the advice for adding membership but add DVC is not there to choose. Any advice? Lauren

    Hiya, Lauren!

It's always nice to see fellow Disney Vacation Club Members here at planDisney –– thanks for stopping by with your question!  I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble downloading your new DVC Digital Membership Card, but I'm happy to offer a few suggestions that I hope can help resolve the issue.  That way, you'll be set to take advantage of your Member Benefits when you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort next month.

In my experience, when a Member has trouble downloading a second digital card for their Membership, it's typically because both people are trying to use the same login and password.  In fact, I just helped my parents fix the same problem –– because they share a Membership and travel together, they only had a single account for accessing the Disney Vacation Club website.  But while this works just fine for booking a reservation, each Member needs their own separate login and password in order to download a card.

To create a separate account for your husband, he'll need to register on the DVC website using the individual Club ID number and activation code that were provided with your Membership.  This information should be included in your original Membership documents, but don't stress if you don't have those on hand –– you can also get this information by contacting Member Services at (800) 800-9800 or by using the new chat feature on the DVC website.  If possible, however, I definitely recommend using the chat to save yourself some time (Member Services currently has very high call volumes and you could be in for a long wait).  When I helped my parents use the chat to get this information, it took us less than 10 minutes to get what we needed from start to finish –– just be sure to have your DVC Membership number on hand before you begin to help expedite the process.

Once your husband has created his new DVC account and logged into the Disney Vacation Club website, he'll need to connect his DVC account to his Disney Account.  I think the easiest way to do this is by selecting "My Dashboard" under the "My DVC" tab.  Under "My Vacation Plans", click on the blue arrow next to your upcoming reservation and select "Connect Disney Account" under "Trip Options".  From there, he can follow the onscreen prompts to connect his DVC Membership to his individual Disney Account credentials.  After this has been completed, your husband can log in to the My Disney Experience mobile app and use the same steps that you did to download his New DVC Digital Membership Card.  If you're still having trouble with your download after completing these steps, I recommend giving Member Services a call for additional support.

Thanks for visiting planDisney, Lauren.  I hope this helped to answer your question and I'm wishing you lots of Membership magic during your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort!
