Hello, Edgar! Welcome to planDisney!
As a lifelong Florida girl myself, I'm happy to have you as a neighbor, even if it's only part-time. After all, being a Floridian is really a state of mind, isn't it? Anyone who wants to enjoy life in paradise can truly be a Floridian!
When it comes to buying
Florida Resident Tickets to the Walt Disney World theme parks, though, you will need just a bit of documentation. It's totally fine if you don't have Florida driver's licenses as long as you can
provide one of the following items dated within the past two months:
- Current homeowner's insurance policy or bill
- Current automobile registration, insurance policy or bill
- Current Utility bill (power, phone, cable, water)
- Mail from financial institutions, including checking, savings or investment account statements
- Mail from federal, state, county or city government agencies
- Bills/Mail can be no more than 2 months old (P.O. Boxes are not accepted as proof of residency)
One important thing to note is that all adults planning to use Florida Resident Tickets must provide proof of residency. You'll want to make sure you either have both names on your accounts, or put some of them in the other person's name. That should be sufficient to prove your address for each person in your party.
Edgar, I hope this helps you plan lots of Disney days in the Florida sunshine! Thank you so much for coming to see us with your question, and we'll see ya again real soon!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
