    Hi! I own a mermaid tail and would love to be able to swim in the AOA pools with it! I read that resorts typically will allow pool toys, so will my mermaid tail be an issue? I am an adult and a very strong swimmer, especially with my fins! ;)

    Hi Olivia! The Little Mermaid has always been one of my favorite Disney animated films. The soundtrack is on constant rotation in our car. I was so fascinated with this question that I called Disney's Art Of Animation and spoke with a Cast Member. She explained to me that wearing the mermaid fin would pose a safety hazard and therefore is not allowed in Walt Disney World pools. I'm so sorry to give you this news, as I am sure you are a gorgeous mermaid! 

    I hope you at least get to stay in one of the cool Little Mermaid themed rooms in the Art Of Animation during your vacation.
