Can you take your own lunch in the parks to eat during the day?

    Hi Angela,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel and bringing us your question.

I hope you are looking forward to your trip to Walt Disney World! There are so many new and exciting attractions this year and this is a great year to visit!

Yes, you can bring your own lunches into the parks. My family and I often pack a bag with our own lunches and snacks and beverages to enjoy throughout the day. Tom Sawyer Island is a favorite hide-away for us to venture off and enjoy a quiet lunch in the shade. We also enjoy picking a quiet spot along Main Street, U.S.A. to enjoy our lunch and simply take in all the magic.

Keep  in mind, you will need to take your packed lunches through a bag check before entering the park. Be sure your packed lunches don’t contain any glass containers as those would be prohibited.

    Enjoy your magic picnics!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
