Hi James,
Welcome back to planDisney! It’s always great to see Guests return year after year as they plan unforgettable vacations at
Walt Disney World and Disneyland, and even aboard Disney Cruise Line. We love being part of your journey.
Being a Florida resident comes with some fantastic perks. Beyond just living close to the magic, Annual Pass options are flexible, and those tempting
Florida Resident discounts that pop up throughout the year. It’s no wonder so many local Guests look for ways to take advantage of these special offerings.
James, rest assured, just because you don’t have a Florida driver’s license doesn’t mean you’re out of luck when verifying residency. According to the
official Walt Disney World website, Florida residents age 18 or older can verify residency using a variety of documents. These include bills, mortgage statements, or other official mail, as long as the documents are no more than two months old and show your name and a valid Florida address.
Since you mentioned your utility bills don’t show a complete address and your mortgage statements are online, a printed copy of your mortgage statement should be acceptable, as long as it lists your full name and Florida residential address. When presenting your documentation at the ticket window or Guest Relations, just make sure it meets those criteria.
James, I hope this clears things up and puts your mind at ease as you move forward with your plans. And if you need more help, feel free to swing by planDisney like Tarzan and
ask me directly. I’d be happy to help you build a park day strategy, share dining recommendations, talk
Lightning Lane tactics, or anything else to help make your trip seamless and fun.
See you real soon,
Brent
