I am so overwhelmed! I am trying to book a last minute (yes, not smart) vaca to Disney. This is our first trip. We have a 2 adn 7 yr old boy. I have NO idea where to stay for the best value...we want to stay in Disney, that is all I know!! HELP!!!

    Hi Angie,

Well I admire your spontaneity! I'm an obsessive planner so let me help you figure out the first steps that you need to take.

    1 - Book your resort!
If you are looking for the least expensive option, look at the value resorts which include Pop Century, All-Star Movies, All-Star Sports, and All-Star Movies.

If you are looking for a great value, try a moderate resort. They offer some great amenities at a reasonable cost. With two small kids, I would suggest Port Orleans French Quarter. It's a small but charming resort which would not be too overwhelming for your first WDW vacation. It has a nice pool, boat transportation to Downtown Disney, bus transportation to all the theme parks, a food court, small playground and more!

Before booking your resort, check to see if any Special Offers apply for your vacation dates.

You'll need to know how many days that you plan to spend at Disney so that you can figure out how many days of park tickets that you'll need.

A great resource for savings information is at www.mousesavers.com.

2 - Book your dining reservations!
Before purchasing a meal plan, make sure that restaurants that interest your family are available for your dates.

And...stop back here with all of your questions, we are happy to help you every step of the way. You'll soon be Disney-bound!!
