So overwhelmed!! I am in the beginning stages of planning a Disney vacation for myself, my husband, our 2 year old DS and Grammie & Grampie. I see that we are eligible for a military rate for passes & hotels--will this be the best route to take?

It very well could be, Megan.  Depending upon your vacation preferences (length of stay, resort choice, etc) you might find that the discounts offered to military personnel would represent the best savings to your family.  That said, Disney does offer a variety of special offers and promotions.  Those can be viewed by clicking HERE.  They change throughout the year, so I would recommend keeping a close eye on that page as your vacation dates firm up and you decide where you want to stay.  Once you do, just price out the different options (including promotions) and you'll easily be able to see which package or discount would be best for your family.  And, as always, the moms are here to help along the way however we can.

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
