I overbooked our table service by 1 dinner, how to let the restaurant know that I'm paying out of pocket or charge to our room the one dinner that was extra. Will it be automatically deducted from our credits? I want to pay for the 1st dinner of our sta

Hello Analiza!  Thank you so much for asking your question here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I am happy to hear you have added the Disney Dining Plan on to your vacation.  My family and I love using the dining plan, it makes a vacation even more relaxing by paying for meals ahead of time.

Even though you are on the Disney Dining Plan, you can pay for any meal you would like out of pocket.  When you are seated at your table service meal your server will come to your table and ask if you are on the Disney Dining Plan.  If you want to pay for that particular meal out of pocket, simply tell your server that you will be paying for the meal.  It is as easy as that!

I hope you have a magical vacation at Walt Disney World.  If you have any other questions, feel free to ask!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
