Greetings, Jolene! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I've been taking my daughter to the Disney Parks since she was 18 months old, so I know all about traveling with a stroller!
According to
Park Rules, the only rule about strollers is that they must be smaller than 36" x 52". In my experience, the vast majority of strollers fit within this size guideline. Keep in mind that, just like the rest of your belongings, your stroller is subject to screening at security check points before entering the Disneyland Resort. I always travel with a stroller and have never had an issue bringing it through security or into the parks. Our stroller happens to be bright pink, but if yours is a more neutral color, I suggest tying a colorful ribbon, sign, or balloon to your stroller to make it easy to spot in stroller parking throughout the parks.
As for leaving the parks and coming back later in the day, you can absolutely do this and I even recommend it! Traveling with little ones can be exhausting. I find that taking an afternoon break is just what everyone needs to recharge before heading back out for dinner or nighttime entertainment. If you have a one-day
ticket, make sure you get your hands stamped as you exit the park to allow re-admission.
I'd love to share more tips with you about traveling with children. Please return to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any other questions you may have!
