Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Maria!
The short answer to your question is a resounding, YES! Guests are most definitely allowed to bring food items – such as snacks and other foods that do not require heating – inside the
Disney Theme Parks. I suggest that whatever snacks you carry be non-perishable items, since the sun's heat will bear down on you all day. I generally pack Ritz Crackers, goldfish, animal crackers, fruit bars, protein bars and granola bars for my crew.
Upon arrival at the entrance to each park, please inform a Security Cast Member of any food items you may be carrying. You can also bring drinks inside the parks. That said, be sure to observe the rules. For example, except for baby food, glass containers and any type of alcoholic beverages, are
not permitted. However, non-alcoholic liquids in plastic containers are perfectly fine to take inside the parks with you.
You can bring a small soft sided cooler, but nothing on wheels. Follow the link provided to view a list of
items not permitted inside the Disney Theme Parks.
Disney Mom Tip: You can ask for a free cup of ice water at any
Counter Service dining location found throughout the parks. This can save you money, keep you hydrated and eliminate the need to carry drinks.
I hope you found this information helpful, Maria! Please come back soon with more questions. We love being able to spread a little pixie dust on all your Disney vacation plans.
Wishing you a most memorable visit to Walt Disney World Resort!
