Hi there, Shani!
From one Florida resident to another, welcome to planDisney. I love a good, up-close fireworks view; whether that’s enjoying a
Seats & Sweets Dessert Party at Magic Kingdom Park or gathering around the World Showcase Lagoon for
Luminous The Symphony of Us. But I have some family members who prefer to watch fireworks at a distance, so I’ve discovered some pretty magical spots around property to do just that.
Here are my favorite restaurants to watch
Happily Ever After (and other Magic Kingdom Park fireworks displays) from outside of the theme park:
-California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort: Great food and the most spectacular Resort hotel fireworks view, if you ask me. It has a romantic vibe, but you can easily bring the whole family here as well. Like the rest of these Monorail Resort hotels on this list, the music is piped in for you for a more enhanced experience.
-Narcoosee’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa: I love the wrap-around porch area that’s outside of the huge windows of this restaurant. I love watching the fireworks here across the Seven Seas Lagoon.
-‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort: Even better than watching the fireworks from this restaurant, you can also watch them from the nearby beach area. Is there anything better than watching fireworks with your feet in the sand? Swoon!
To see the EPCOT fireworks show, Luminous The Symphony of Us, you’ll want to check out these restaurants outside of the theme park:
-Topolino’s Flavors of the Riviera at Disney’s Riviera Resort: Hands-down this is one of my favorite viewing spots. The fireworks are at a distance, but the music is piped into this rooftop spot and it’s oh-so magical.
-Toledo—Tapas, Steak, and Seafood (and Dahlia Lounge) at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort: On the top floor of Gran Destino Tower, you’ll find the most beautiful Spanish restaurant with the most relaxing vibe. The nearby Dahlia Lounge, which you don’t need an advance dining reservation for, has an open-air area that is perfect to see the fireworks from a distance. The music is not piped in at these locations.
Shani, I hope that this helps you plan the most magical evening. If you have any other Disney vacation planning questions, revisit us here at planDisney.
I’m all ears! Magic always,
LeAndra
