Hi there, Ryan! Welcome to planDisney.
You have come to the right place! Here at planDisney, we love to talk about food AND planning. Put them together, and you've got us interested!
I love all the Disney treats - churros, DOLE Whips, ice cream cones with Mickey ears, popcorn...but I digress! When I visit the Disney parks, I plan for all those treats (and more), but we also pack snacks to avoid the dreaded hangry feeling. In fact, I was
just making a grocery list for my Disney vacation next week!
When planning to bring outside food and beverages to the Disneyland Resort, it's important to check the
Park Rules to avoid bringing prohibited items. Generally speaking, you're welcome to bring your own food and beverages into the theme parks. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited, and so are glass containers (except small jars, such as those that hold baby food). If you're bringing a cooler, note that loose ice and dry ice are not allowed, and dimensions must be no larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high. Also note that your cooler will be subject to inspection by security at the gate.
I hope your Mouseketeers have the best time at the Disneyland Resort. Have you checked out
