Is outside food allowed in the parks? My little one has food allergies. We don't want to spend on sit-down lunches and we have found most kiosks, fast food type eateries don't carry food he can eat.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Anielka!

I'm so happy you asked such a great question! My oldest son has food allergies as well, so I totally understand the need to bring food with you to make sure your little Mouseketeer can eat safely during your trip. Guests are welcome to bring outside food and drinks into the theme parks, provided they are not in glass containers. Also, your bag or cooler needs to be smaller than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high. You can check out the complete list of prohibited items in the Walt Disney World Resort Park Rules.

During your visit, be on the lookout for the new Snacks With Character located throughout the theme parks. This line includes many allergy-friendly options that may be a great special treat for your son. Disney has partnered with allergy-friendly brands such as Enjoy Life and WOW Baking Company to produce some awesome treats for the theme parks. My little guy loved being able to pick out a safe treat from a gift shop with one of his favorite Disney characters on it and he felt just like all of the other kids. And they were so tasty that the other kids we were with enjoyed them as well!

Please let us know if you have any other questions as you prepare for your trip! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
