Is outside food allowed inside the Disney park and California park ? Can I bring my own can sodas and juices to drink inside the park and home made sandwiches?

    Hi there, Roxana!

I’m so glad you stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this excellent question! Your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth is just around the corner--I hope you’re getting excited for all the magic that awaits you in Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park!

Yes, you are welcome to bring your own food and drinks into the theme parks with the exception of a few items. Glass containers and alcoholic beverages are not permitted in either of the Disneyland Resort theme parks. However, a small cooler containing your soft drinks and sandwiches will be just fine. You can also enjoy your own food and beverages at the picnic area located outside the Main Entrance to Disneyland Park. You’ll find tables, chairs and shade umbrellas in this comfortable outdoor space.

Another tip is that you can ask for complimentary lidded cups of ice water at any quick-service restaurant in the theme parks. It’s an economical way to stay hydrated without having to carry heavy bottles of water along with you all day. I hope this helps you plan, Roxana! Please feel free to send us any other questions you may have before your visit!

    Wishing you magic,
