Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Susan! We’re happy you stopped by to bring us your question. It’s our pleasure to help you plan a most magical vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort!
Susan, one of the best budget savvy tips when visiting the Walt Disney World Resort is to pack a lunch! You are welcome to bring snacks and drinks and make a picnic at all four theme parks and water parks during your visit. There are some exceptions on what you can bring and some restrictions regarding cooler sizes. But if you
follow some simple guidelines, you will be able to save and enjoy some homemade goodies during your visit. Being able to pack food is also a great benefit for guest with special diets. I love the convenience of being able to bring our own food into the parks!
When I visit with my crew, our go-to snacks are peelable fruits like bananas and mandarin oranges, or baggie friendly fruit like grapes and those pre-sliced apples you can find at your local grocery store. Trail mix and granola bars are another great choice! For the kids, you can’t ever go wrong with some PB&J. Juice boxes and shelf stable chocolate milk are another great addition to your picnic bag.
Even though I enjoy having some homemade goodies with me, I never pass up an opportunity to snack on some delicious Disney food when I visit! There’s just something about a Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar that I can’t say no to. So, be sure to leave room for some treats when you visit. They are tempting, delicious and 100% worth enjoying!
Have a magical day! Be sure to come back and see us again soon if you need any additional tips for your upcoming visit. See you real soon!
