Can I outright purchase the memory maker for $99 after I renew my pass?

    Hi Sharon,

Welcome to planDisney! I'm always thrilled to hear from a fellow Floridian who is also a Florida resident annual passholder. Isn't it just the best?

I'm a huge proponent of adding the Disney PhotoPass Download option to an annual pass. I have been a passholder for almost 30 years and had never taken advantage of that option until about a year ago. And I'm so happy I did!

You absolutely can add the option to your annual pass either when you renew or at any time during your pass year. As of right now (and prices are always subject to change without notice), the option costs $109 plus tax if you add it at renewal. When you add it later, as I did, the cost is $99 plus tax, and that lasts until your next renewal date.

With the option, I have unlimited access to photos for everyone I'm connected to on my Family & Friends list in My Disney Experience, up to 25 people in all. That includes pictures taken by PhotoPass photographers around the parks and resorts, on rides and attractions (a MagicBand or Bluetooth-enabled device may be required on some rides) and at the Disney PhotoPass Studio at Disney Springs. I especially love access to Magic Shots.

It's easy to add the option. Just find your pass in the My Tickets and Passes section of your My Disney Experience profile and click Upgrade. You can choose the PhotoPass option and/or the Water Park and Sports Option there.

Once you add it, I think that, like me, you will never want to be without it again.

Thanks for your question, Sharon, and stop back at planDisney any time you need information, suggestions or recommendations to add magic to your Walt Disney World experience.

    Enjoy,

    Wilma
