Hi Jenna!
Thanks for reaching out to planDisney with your question! It’s always good to know what to expect so you can plan ahead, and I’m happy to help!
Each stateroom on
Disney Cruise Line typically comes equipped with several electrical outlets and USB ports to help you stay charged and connected throughout your voyage. You’ll find outlets at the desk or vanity area, which usually include a mix of standard U.S. 110V outlets and European 220V outlets. There are also USB ports conveniently located by the bed in many of the newer ships, making it easy to charge your devices overnight.
The exact number and location of outlets can vary depending on the type of cabin you have and which ship you're sailing on. For example, newer ships may have more USB ports than older ones, and larger staterooms could offer additional outlets in different areas.
If you find that you need extra power options, I’d recommend visiting
Guest Services aboard the ship. During my last cruise, I needed an additional extension cord for a medical device, and they were able to provide me with a special one that met their safety requirements. I also recommend that you take a moment to review the
list of prohibited and restricted items as many Guests bring extension cords, power strips, multi-plugs and surge protectors, and those end up being confiscated during the trip (and are returned at debarkation).
I hope this helps you get a better idea of what to expect, Jenna! If you have any more questions about your upcoming cruise, feel free to reach out. Wishing you smooth sailing and a magical time on your Disney Cruise!
Bon voyage!
