Hi Moms, Like so many others, we have taken a leap of faith and booked a cruise for next year. If Disney has to cancel will all of our money be refunded (we booked concierge). Thank you . I am certain to have lots more questions in the future.

    Ahoy Barbara!

A DREAM is a wish your heart makes, and the Disney Dream is on the horizon for you! I applaud you taking  a leap of faith and following your dreams. I think this is a decision you will be so glad you made, especially in selecting Concierge level. Between the posh staterooms and the Concierge Lounge, it is the ultimate VIP experience! Or so I hear...I haven’t yet tried Concierge level yet. I keep trying to convince my husband that I NEED to experience it to better answer Guest questions. Yeah, so far, I haven’t had any luck, but I’m still hopeful!

Let me assure you that if you have a reservation and that cruise gets cancelled, then if you have paid your reservation in full, you will be offered the choice of a cruise credit to be used for a future sailing or a full refund. Meanwhile, Guests who haven't paid their reservations in full yet will automatically receive a refund of what they have paid so far. So in both those scenarios, what you had already paid would be refunded (unless you opted to go with a cruise credit). FYI: This information is updated regularly in the Disney Cruise Line Important Travel Information section.

Now if YOU opt to cancel, then the Disney Cruise Line Terms and Conditions would apply, so be sure to be mindful of these before electing to cancel your cruise. Granted, there are relaxed cancellation rules right now under the Book with Confidence program, but I don’t anticipate those to be continuing as far out as May 2022 when you will be cruising.

I fully anticipate that 2022 will bring more smooth sailing when it comes to Disney cruises and I would not expect Disney Cruise Line cancellations to go that far out in the future. Then again, it’s not like I have Madame Leota’s crystal ball from Haunted Mansion, so I have no idea when Captain Mickey will be able to resume sailing. But I feel like we are on the verge of a change in the winds, and the tide will turn us back to new adventures at sea later this year and into 2022.

Barbara, chart a course for planDisney if we can help you further. Enjoy being pampered by the Concierge team. Hope you have a DREAm vacation!

    SEA ya real soon!
