Sterling from TX Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

We are going to be in Orlando for Thanksgiving week in 2026 and want to know what special Disney activities we can do/reserve.

Hey there, Sterling, and welcome to planDisney! There is so much to do and see at Walt Disney World Resort in addition to the attractions and entertainment at the theme parks. There's an entire list of Enchanting Extras, and many of these experiences can be reserved ahead of time. Your November visit will allow you to enjoy special holiday entertainment in addition to the year-round offerings that are very popular with guests. I will give you a mix of recommendations and I hope you find something that tickles your fancy!

Let's kick it off with some of the most popular offerings:
These experiences immerse you in the magic of Disney storytelling, and there truly is something for everyone. Imagine the Star Wars fan in your family selecting the pieces for their own custom lightsaber and watching as it comes alight in defiance of the First Order, or your young prince or princess being primped and polished and becoming royalty themselves! Talk about a core memory. Each of the experiences above are on my bucket list, and I wanted to share them with you since they are some of the most in-demand reservations.

I have enjoyed some Enchanting Extras with my family, including my son's first haircut at Harmony Barbershop and mini-golfing at Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf. You can reserve these experiences 60 days in advance, and plan for up to 10 days of your stay if you are a guest at a Disney Resort hotel.

When Thanksgiving week rolls around, Disney will be fully decked out for the winter holidays. You may want to attend one of the parties available at the theme parks, and you can choose from Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party in Magic Kingdom or Disney Jollywood Nights at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Party dates and pricing are forthcoming, so keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for updates.

I know you'll find a special event or experience to try during your November visit! Come back and see me here at planDisney if you have more planning questions.

    Stay magical,
    Scott
