We are Orlando residents and APs, and we're interested in taking our 5yo and 9-month-old baby to enjoy some of the non-park activities for some day trips. Could our baby ride on a surrey bike with us? Any other activities you'd recommend?

Greetings, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Tamara, we’re so glad you stopped by!

Congratulations for the birth of your child! We are thrilled that you’ll be visiting Walt Disney World Resort and interested in our many forms of Recreation.

Tamara, I have ridden and greatly enjoyed my experience on a Surrey Bike throughout Disney’s BoardWalk area - a fun and scenic experience indeed! I’m am not too certain about bringing an infant on a Surrey Bike, because of the seating configurations and the amount of attention needed to command the bike. Disney’s BoardWalk, however, is a perfect area for activities, shopping, dining, and a lovely walk.

You may also wish to visit Disney Springs which offers lots of diverse dining, shopping and entertainment?

May I offer our Planning for Pre-School Kids & Little Ones online resource that will best allow you to decide what is best for your family. It offers suitable Disney Resort hotels, suggestions for suitable attractions, experiences and activities, sample Theme Park Itineraries in case you decide to visit and much more.

I hope this information is helpful, Tamara, and we would be honored to be of any further assistance again soon.

    Best Disney Wishes!
    Jacqueline
