We are going to Orlando next February. Can we eat at Chef Mickey even though we are not staying at a Disney hotel? And also if that's possible, do you park on the contemporary hotel car park or do you have to use the Disney transportation buses/monorail?

Hi Pamela, You will just love eating at Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort. Anyone can eat there, and I would recommend that you make Advanced Dining Reservations online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE. Since you have a car, you can drive to the Contemporary Resort and let the Cast Member know that you are dining there. i would have your reservation number handy just in case they would ask you for it. If you are at the Magic Kingdom the day of your reservation, I would either walk to the Contemporary Resort (this will take about 10 minutes) or hop on the Monorail to get there. It is such a treat to meet the Fabulous Five during your meal! Be sure to bring your camera and autograph books to capture those magical memories, Pamela!
