We’ll be in Orlando mid April for a fortnight and we’d love to have one or two Disney park days during our stay, but I can’t seem to find much information about buying single day tickets in advance? Can you help?

Hi Laura! Welcome to planDisney, and thank you so much for reaching out. I love that you're planning to sprinkle a little Disney magic into your Orlando stay later this year! A fortnight in Florida sounds absolutely dreamy, and even one or two park days can be such a special highlight of the trip.

What you're running into is actually a very common point of confusion for Guests visiting from the UK, so you're not missing anything. Unfortunately, there isn't a way to purchase single-day Walt Disney World theme park tickets in advance from the UK. The UK ticketing platform is geared almost entirely toward multi-day tickets, which is why those are the only options you're seeing online right now.

If you're set on doing just one or two Disney days, the solution is simple. You'll just need to wait until you arrive in Orlando! Once you're there, you'll be able to purchase 1-Day Theme Park tickets in person. You can do this at theme park ticket windows, Guest Relations locations, or even through the My Disney Experience app once you're physically in the U.S. It's a very straightforward process, and Cast Members are always happy to help walk you through your options when the time comes.

I know it can feel a little unsettling not having everything booked ahead of time, but rest assured, plenty of international Guests do exactly this all the time without any issues.

Laura, I hope this helps clear things up and gives you peace of mind as you plan your stay. Whether it's one day or two, Disney has a way of making even a short visit feel unforgettable. If you want help deciding which parks are best for a shorter visit once your dates are closer, please don't hesitate to reach back out to us! We're always available and more than happy to help here at planDisney.

    Warm hugs,

    Ana Paula
