I am going to be in Orlando for 3 days. I have a 7 year old and a 2.5 year old. My first choice of theme park is Disney Animal Kingdom. But I don't know which 2nd park I should take my kids too. We from L.A and we have been many times to Disneyland.

    Hi Nick,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Mickey and Minnie Mouse will be so happy to meet your little ones when you visit the Walt Disney World Resort!

Animal Kingdom theme park is definitely a terrific choice given the ages of your children. I also suggest Magic Kingdom theme park. There are quite a few rides and attractions your children could enjoy. Be sure to check the height requirements for each ride or attraction. When my girls were younger, they loved The Magic Carpets of Aladdin, Peter Pan's Flight, Mad Tea Party, The Barnstormer, and Tomorrowland Speedway. There are a variety of characters and entertainment at Magic Kingdom as well. For this reason, we always visit Magic Kingdom two days during a week-long vacation.

Review the Planning for Pre-School Kids and Little Ones Guide. This guide will provide great information for you as you plan your trip! Whatever you decide in terms of rides, be sure to make your Fast Pass+ selections 60 days prior to your trip if staying at a Walt Disney World resort hotel and 30 days in advance if not. Make sure to link your theme park tickets to your My Disney Experience Account.

Nick, I hope you plan to visit Pandora at Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park. Na'vi River Journey is just stunning. While there, grab a quick bite to eat at Satu'li Canteen. It is now one of my favorite quick-service restaurants!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
