Hello there, Juanita. Welcome to planDisney. It's so nice to see you here!
So first things first, I need to provide you with a warning. And it's that you're asking a planDisney Panelist how far in advance you should book your tickets to the Walt Disney World Resort. Why would I warn you about that? Well, to give you some perspective, I just booked my trip for January 2025 as a
Disney Vacation Club member two days ago. So, as you can see, I'm a planner...and most of us
planDisney Panelists like to plan as far in advance as possible.
The best answer to your question is to buy theme park tickets as soon as you know your dates to ensure you'll have admission when you'd like to visit. While tickets do not sell out very often nor is it a regular occurrence that the parks close due to capacity, both
can happen so it's best to plan ahead. In all likelihood, you should be fine to purchase your theme park tickets 5 days before your visit, but if you know the specific dates you're going to be enjoying the parks, it's better to be safe than sorry.
This year, the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival will be taking place from February 28 to May 27, 2024...which means you'll get to enjoy it while you're there! Besides the
Outdoor Kitchens, I just love looking at the topiaries around the entire park. You may want to be on the lookout for
Mirabel and some of her family members from Encanto. They debuted as topiaries last year and are completely stunning! I think I've convinced my stepmother-in-law, who is from Colombia, to go this year and she's pretty excited to experience the beauty of it all!
Juanita,
please feel free to reach out to me with any other questions. I hope your trip is full of
delicious bites,
magical memories, and
stunning beauty.
You can't hurry the future,
Matt
