Welcome to planDisney, Janet! Thank you for bringing me this question today, it’s always lovely to help a fellow guest from the UK plan their jolly holiday to the Most Magical Place on Earth. I hope I can help make your trip practically perfect in every way!
April is a wonderful time to visit Walt Disney World, while one of my favourite festivals,
EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival, is in full bloom. As a big Figment fan, I’m particularly excited about the
Figment topiary in World Celebration Gardens, followed by a ride on
Journey Into Imagination With Figment to see my favourite purple dragon causing mischief!
Let’s dive straight into your question about
Walt Disney World park tickets. With a little faith, trust, and pixie dust, I hope I can help you decide on the best ticket type for you. When booking my family’s holidays to Disney World from the UK in the past, I soon realised that single-day park tickets are only available once you arrive in the US. In the UK, we have the fantastic
7-Day and 14-Day Magic Tickets available to us, which are exclusive to the UK and Ireland, and offer so much magic for your money. However, I have a solution for you, Janet, if you’re looking to make 1 magical day of Disney memories at EPCOT.
Once you arrive in the US, you can log in to your
My Disney Experience app and purchase your 1-day ticket online. Alternatively, you could talk through the ticket options with a Cast Member at
Guest Relations or at the theme park ticket windows. I recommend downloading the My Disney Experience app while you're still in the UK, and creating an account, so that you’re all set to snag those tickets as soon as you arrive in Orlando! The prices for single day tickets are subject to change and vary depending on the type of ticket you’d like and the date you have in mind, so please check when you arrive in the US for the most up-to-date pricing.
Janet, whichever ticket option you decide to go for, I hope that you make treasured memories that last a lifetime.
If you have any other questions, you always have a friend in me at

Magic and Wishes,
