We will be in Orlando for a conference in August and have only one day to spend at a Disney park. I have 6- and 8-year-old boys. Which park should we visit?

    Hi Lynne!

If I had to choose just one park to visit, I would have to go with the Magic Kingdom. I feel like it has the most to offer for all ages and there is just something special about walking down Main Street USA and seeing the castle ahead. The Magic Kingdom is my favorite park and I always seem to spend the most time there.

Space Mountain will still be under refurbishment in August, but your boys may enjoy Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Splash Mountain in Frontierland. Another thing that might be fun for your sons is the new Pirate League which has just opened near the Pirates of the Caribbean. At the Pirate's League your boys can get make-overs to become pirates complete with getting their own pirate name and taking a pirate oath.

I hope you enjoy your day at Disney World!
