DH and I will be in Orlando on a business trip. We have 2 free days, planning 1 day in Epcot. Any suggestions for the other day. Never been to Downtown or Boardwalk, should we plan 1 of those or something else. Thanks DMP :)

    Hi Margaret,

My answer to your question depends on whether this is your first trip to the Walt Disney World Resort.  If you've never been on Disney property before then you simply have to spend your second day in the Magic Kingdom.  This is the theme park that started it all in Florida and you honestly can't say you've experienced Walt Disney World unless you've been to the Magic Kingdom.  If you've never been there, this is a MUST DO!

Otherwise, I would head to Downtown Disney for a leisurely day of shopping and dining.  Call ahead [(407) WDW-DINE] to book a dining reservation at whatever restaurant tickles your fancy.  There are so many from which you can choose.  You can even conclude your day by driving over to the Boardwalk to enjoy the street performers and shopping over there.  What a fun day that would be!

Enjoy your brief but exciting trip to Orlando!
