Welcome to planDisney Amy!
Your Walt Disney World vacation is just around the corner! I am glad to hear you are working out your transportation details now so once your trip rolls around all you have to do is sit back and enjoy the fun.
If you are flying into and/or out of Orlando Airport, you will need to arrange transportation. One option is Mears Connect or the Sunshine Flyer Shuttle. Both of these shuttle services are available 24/7 and can be booked directly on their websites. Just have your flight information available when booking. With a shuttle service you are able to book one way or round trip. If using a shuttle service for your return to the airport, pick-up time is usually 3 hours prior to your flight departure.
Another option is to use Uber or Lyft. Have the app downloaded on your cell phone so you can arrange for a car to pick you up for your ride to the airport. I would arrange for a car 2.5 hours prior to your flight departure.
The great news is that during your magical vacation, you can enjoy
Disney's complimentary transportation all around property whether you are going to a theme park, park hopping, or Disney Springs! The
Disney Skyliner is the newest transportation option, servicing
EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and several resorts along the route. You can also zip around property on boats, buses, and even the monorail - the Highway in the Sky!
Enjoy your visit to Walt Disney World during its magical
50th Anniversary Celebration!
