Hi, we originally planned to go to Disneyland park on January 8, but we see there are no reservations available online. Can we still purchase tickets physically at the park and be able to go? Thank you!

Hi Nicholas Philip! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.

I checked the theme park reservation availability calendar, and it still looks like your preferred date is sold out. Guests currently need a valid admission ticket and theme park reservation to enter the parks, and on popular days sometimes a park or both parks can fill up and become unavailable. I'm sorry if that is disappointing! I know what it's like having your heart set on a day of magic.

Unfortunately, the main ticket booths don't have additional tickets and reservations that are held back. If a day is sold out online, that will also be the case in person. So, I wouldn't count on coming without a valid admission ticket and theme park reservation on a sold-out day and getting into the parks. Instead, I'd recommend you keep checking for reservations throughout the day online. Persistence can pay off. Guests' plans sometimes change, and when someone cancels a reservation, availability reflects that. I'll keep my fingers crossed you're able to snag a reservation for your perfect day of fun.

If your preferred date doesn't work out, there are some offers currently available, which might work out for your next visit. Check out the Offers & Discounts page to see if one of these deals is the right fit for you. My family is really excited about the Kids' Special Ticket Offer, which is a great value to families visiting Disneyland Resort with children. Prices and terms are subject to change.

    Have a magical day.
