Originally we planned to arrive on June 10 of this year, but I just saw that that is the last day of Star Wars Weekends. Would it be worth it to move our trip up a few days to see that or are the regular Star Wars exhibits just as fun?

    Hi Joe,

Certainly Star Tours, the Disney's Hollywood Studios attraction, is a fabulous ride for Star Wars fans. And it's now in 3-D!

However, if you are interested in Star Wars, the place to be is Star Wars Weekends! My family went to one of these events a few years ago.

My son (now 12) and husband asked me to make sure that we could see it again this year. We are going in early June now.

From the Storm Troopers on top of the buildings, the Star Wars parade, meeting characters (Darth Vader and more!), to the special shows, merchandise and visitors in costume, this event is memorable! Definitely an "out-of-this-world" experience!

I remember watching the Storm Troopers march all together as well as R2-D2 going down the parade route and it was impressive.

We didn't line up to meet celebrities but had a great time getting pictures and autographs from seldom seen characters such as Luke and Princess Leia. I had my picture taken with an Ewok!

I would move up your trip a few days! Let the Force be with you!
