We originally made reservations for July 8th but are wanting to switch them to July 9th. When looking at the reservation calendar it shows as available but then when I try to book my tickets it says it’s not. How do I fix this?

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Kaylee!

Thanks for bringing your question to us at planDisney. I’m happy to hear you’re planning a summertime visit to the Disneyland Resort! Have you heard that Avengers Campus, an all-new land, recently opened in Disney California Adventure Park? Be sure to stop by and catch a glimpse of your favorite superheroes in action!

Keep in mind that there are five different tiers for 1-Day tickets, and Tier 1 through Tier 4 do have various blockout dates for single-day visitors. It’s important to check which tier the date you plan to visit falls in so you can buy the proper ticket. It’s likely that the theme park ticket you had already purchased for your original date is in a different tier than the new date you want to reserve, which is why it appears to be open on the Theme Park Reservations Availability Calendar but is not an option when you’re selecting a date with your linked tickets. To inquire about the possibility of upgrading your ticket tier, you’ll need to speak with a Cast Member by calling the ticket helpline at (714) 781-4636.

I hope this answers your question, Kaylee. Do you need any other information? If so, please send us more questions as you continue planning your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
