I’m so sorry to hear that one member of your crew won’t be able to make it. However, I'm happy to report that you're able to bring another Guest to take their spot. In fact, you don’t have to worry about changing the name on the ticket prior to your arrival, since
Disneyland Resort theme park tickets aren’t assigned to a specific person until each ticket is scanned at the front entrance turnstiles. As soon as you’re canned in, the Cast Member will take a picture to assign a specific ticket to each Guest. At that point, the ticket can’t be transferred to anyone else. However, I understand that it may be confusing to not be able to see the specific name associated with that ticket while using
Disney Genie+ service on your
Disneyland app, so if you’d prefer to change the name on that ticket ahead of your arrival, you can call a Ticketing Cast Member at (714) 781-4636 for assistance.
Speaking of the Disneyland app, I recommend making sure you have it downloaded and ready to go before you enter the theme parks today. The Disneyland app is truly my favorite handy helper in the parks! With the app, you can check attraction wait times, find favorite Characters, use Genie+ service, and even
mobile order food and drinks. This convenient service has saved my family from many toddler meltdowns in the past!
