Walt Disney World Resort that is sure to make your holiday extra special. Thank you for your question about getting the MagicBands that you initially bought for your past trip. Let's see what we can come up with.
There was a lot that was happening in 2020 that was out of our control, such as government travel restrictions, that Disney was trying to keep up with and make it right by the Guests in these special circumstances. In your case, this issue might be best resolved with a discussion with a Cast Member. Around those times, Disney was much more flexible with the terms and conditions of Guests with vacation packages booked and your situation might be very unique in how it was handled. If you have the confirmation emails with all of the transactions from your canceled trip handy, I would make sure you can pull them up with the reservation numbers and such. They, of course, are not active but Cast Members might be able to look at the details and if you were issued a refund they can see if the MagicBands were included or not and handle that situation accordingly. I would start by
giving Disney a ring at free phone 0800 16 90 743 and speak to a Cast Member about your situation so they can handle it appropriately.
Now, a lot has changed with MagicBands since 2020 so before you call, you might want to look into a few things. Recently, Disney has introduced
MagicBand+ as an option to make your time in the parks extra special. With MagicBand+, you can change how this band interacts with you when you tap into things like attractions and enter the parks. You can also interact with the
Disney Fab 50 Character Collection statues as well as experience the nighttime firework shows differently with your MagicBand+ lighting up with the show. There are so many new features with MagicBand+ that will allow you to interact with the parks in a whole new way!
