Hi there, Alberto, and welcome to planDisney!
Three days at the Happiest Place on Earth with Dad? That sounds like a dream! Let’s dive into how you can make this happen.
While you included a name during the initial purchase,
theme park tickets are not truly assigned to an individual until they enter the park for the first time. Since the pass you have is unused, your father should be able to use it. There are a few options available to make this happen.
The simplest option is to keep the ticket on your MyDisney account and scan it for your father upon arrival. Secondly, you could print the ticket and allow your father to scan it himself at the gate. Lastly, your father can link the ticket to his own MyDisney account using the Disneyland
mobile app. Here’s how:
- Tap the (≡) icon in the bottom right corner.
- Tap “My Tickets & Passes.”
- Tap the (+) icon in the top right corner.
- Tap “Link Tickets & Passes.”
- Either use the camera to scan the ticket’s barcode or type in the ticket ID.
Please keep in mind that each Guest over 18 years of age with a
California Resident ticket must present their California ID or driver’s license to activate it.
Alberto, I hope this helps! You and your father are going to have the most magical adventure at Disneyland. Enjoy every moment! If you have any more questions, my pals and I here at planDisney are always happy to help.
Sending you faith, trust, and pixie dust,
Karmeen
