My original question wasn’t accurate. We will be purchasing 5 (2 adult, 3 kids) 14 day tickets from the UK before arriving at WDW. We are staying off site. Our twins will turn 3, 5 days into the trip. Will we need to get them a ticket for when they are 3?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Gemma! Thank you for your clarification on your original question. I’m sure your family will have a magical time as soon as you arrive in Florida!

Since you are staying off site, you will only need tickets for your children on their third birthday and thereafter.  While they are two years old, they will remain free of charge. If you wish to bring a copy of their birth certificate (I often travel with a copy of ours!) you may. I find that kids are often excited about upcoming birthdays and will try to “be” their next age ahead of time! You may also want to look into magical transformation options like The Pirate’s League where children can be made into pirates and mermaids after they turn three. The makeup and costume options are quite magical and I find, less expensive than Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique!

If we can help you further before or during your magical family vacation, please let us know. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
