If your MagicBand is still active and linked to your
My Disney Experience account, there’s no need to get a new one. Your
MagicBand will still work for park entry,
Lightning Lane access, and anything else tied to your tickets. The main thing is just to make sure it’s connected to the right profile and tickets in the app, so there aren’t any hiccups when you get to the parks.
Some people like to switch to
MagicMobile on their phone, and that works too, but you don’t have to choose. You can even use both if you want. Some days you might prefer the convenience of having it on your wrist, and other days it’s nice to just scan your phone. Either way, your original MagicBand is still perfectly good, so you don’t have to worry about ordering a new one before your trip.
It’s nice that Disney lets you keep using your old MagicBands, because it saves time and you get to stick with one you already love. Just double-check everything’s linked correctly, and you’re good to go. You’ll be all set to enjoy the parks without any extra stress.
