Hi Moms! Our original flight was cancelled on Aug8th. Our new flight gets us to Orland @9:30pm. Should we pick up our own luggage and is the Bus still available to get us to Ft Wilderness? &should we get the dinning plan if we have a kitchen to cook?Th

    Hi Pam,

Since your flight is coming in at 9:30pm, you can still use the Magical Express Luggage tags (can do so before 10pm flights), however, I would recommend picking up your luggage at Baggage Claim and taking it with you.  Your bags will be delivered within three hours of your arrival which means you may be woken up at 12:30-1:00am.  Later in the evening, it just makes sense to take them with you.  Disney's Magical Express bus system runs 24 hours a day, so do not worry that you won't have a way to get to Ft. Wilderness.  The cabins are wonderful and very spacious.  The Disney Dining Plan is worthwhile if you will be using one Table Service, one Quick Service and one snack every night you are at the resort.  I you plan on cooking dinner every night, I would not recommend this.  I usually will use the kitchen to have a quick breakfast, and still use the Dining Plan for the rest of the day since we don't come back until the parks are closed.  You can even "save" some of your credits from the Disney Dining Plan to do one of the dinner shows.  The Hoop-Dee-Do Musical Revue is fantastic and right at the campgrounds!  It is the best dinner show at Walt Disney World in my opinion.  Please send me a follow up question if I can help you further, Pam.  Have a magical vacation in the cabins!
