Hi Shona,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question, my fellow Canadian! I’m usually the “Organizer-in-Chief” whenever I visit Walt Disney World Resort with my family and friends in groups of upwards of over a dozen people, so I’ve been in your shoes several times before. It’s so much fun to share the Disney Magic with your loved ones… but it can be a whole lot of work, too!
The way that the
Disney Dining Plan works is, regardless of how many
Disney Resort Hotel Packages may be linked together, the number of entitlements (i.e. “credits”) are typically shared by the people staying in the same
Disney Resort Hotel room. That means that the three people who are sharing each room will also be sharing their Disney Dining Plan entitlements with each other, and not with the entire group of nine people.
That being said, please double check that this will be the case with your hotel’s
Lobby Concierge when you check in. Sometimes, reservations can get tangled up and your Concierge will be more than happy to help you “untangle” your vacation plans. Don’t forget that you can also track your remaining entitlements with your
My Disney Experience app, too. So please check that app every once in a while to make sure that the entitlements are being deducted properly.
Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
