How should I organize myself in term of rides if I want to tackle as many rides as possible in one day for the 2 parks?

    Hello, Andrea!

I absolutely understand! After delicious food, the thing my family and I enjoy the most at the Disneyland Resort is experiencing as many attractions as possible.

Here are my tips for experiencing the most attractions possible at the Disneyland Resort.

    • Start early. I recommend arriving 30-40 minutes before park opening. Attraction wait times are usually at their lowest during the first few hours of the morning.
    • If you are staying at one of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels, be sure to take advantage of early entry benefits that allow on-site hotel Guests to enter a theme park and enjoy select attractions up to 30 minutes before regular park opening.
    • Make use of the free Disney Genie service to get recommendations for attractions near you with low wait times.
    • I recommend planning on experiencing maybe one or two “headliner” attractions first thing in the morning, depending on wait times. After that, those attractions that are most popular tend to build up a significant wait time while other attractions still usually have a low wait time in the morning. For example, you might experience an attraction like Space Mountain while its wait time is still low. Then you could move on to the other, smaller attractions in Tomorrowland and Fantasyland while most other Guests gravitate toward the bigger attractions.
    • I highly recommend purchasing the Disney Genie+ service. If it is not already included with your ticket, you can add Genie+ after you enter a theme park. Even if the park hasn’t officially opened, you can buy Genie+ and begin booking a Lightning Lane return time as long as your ticket has been scanned already.
    • Watch the Tip Board in the Disneyland mobile app for Lightning Lane return times of your favorite apps. If those return times are getting later sooner than other attractions, you may want to prioritize those attractions. Sometimes that may mean canceling an existing return time reservation in order to book a return time for an attraction that is running out of return times. You can book a new Lightning Lane return after redeeming a recent booking or after waiting 120 minutes, whichever comes first. So you can have multiple return times booked before redeeming them all.
    • Consider purchasing an individual Lightning Lane return time for select attractions not included with Genie+. This will help save time that might otherwise be spent waiting for popular attractions like Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Radiator Springs Racers.
    • Take advantage of mobile food and beverage ordering to save time when ordering meals.
    • Stay flexible. There is so much magic to experience at the Disneyland Resort. It may not be possible to experience every attraction in just one day. But by watching for short return times you are likely to enjoy a large number of attractions and have a very memorable time.

Enjoy the magic of the Disneyland Resort, Andrea!
