Hiya Donna,
Welcome back to planDisney! We are truly honored that you seek answers to your planning questions from us. Helping Guests like you makes us so happy, and we love being a tiny part of the Magic that is your Walt Disney World Resort Vacation.
While I have not personally utilized The Kid’s Nite Out childcare services, some of my fellow panelists have given me a quick rundown on their excellent in-room sitters. In their experiences, yes, you can ask the in-room sitters to help get your little Mouseketeers fed and off to bed either through room service or to another quick service location located at a
Walt Disney World Resort Collection Hotel. When you make the reservation, I would suggest that you double-check with them about whether or not they can accommodate a visit to
Disney’s BoardWalk for dinner. Whether or not you should plan to provide dinner for the in-room sitter depends on the amount of time they will be with your children (when you make a reservation, they will outline their specific policies around dining and timing). Even for shorter visits, some of my panelist friends talked about offering to purchase a snack or dessert for their in-room sitters, but it is not a requirement unless a specific timing is exceeded. If you haven’t already done so yet and are still interested, feel free to go to the Kids Nite Out to learn more about in-room sitters, view their current rates, and make your reservation online.
Please let me know if there is anything else we can help you with!
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
