Hi there Sally,
I am so glad I have the opportunity to help you with this question! My family and I live in Northern California and are passionate about eating organic whenever possible and are especially concerned with maintaining a diet that is absent of genetically modified ingredients. This can be tricky, especially when vacationing, but luckily, Disney seems to be expanding the availability of organic and non-GMO food options every day.
Although there seems to currently be a lack of organic options at the majority of Disney's quick service locations, I usually have some luck with the offerings at the Signature table service establishments including California Grill, Narcoossee's, Flying Fish, and Artist Point which is located at Wilderness Lodge. Another great option is
The Wave restaurant located in the Contemporary Resort which prides itself on using local and sustainable ingredients whenever possible. I highly recommend making advanced reservations at these locations by calling Disney Dining at (407)WDW-DINE.
Because of our commitment to eating an organic diet, we usually either visit the nearby Whole Foods to stock up on drinks and snacks, or sometimes, if we don't have transportation, we'll order from a delivery service such as GardenGrocer.com. They carry a pretty decent variety of organic and non-GMO items. I am usually sure to stock necessary items such as organic milk, cereals, fruits, and such since the guest rooms are equipped with a mini refrigerator.
Hope you find this information helpful and please feel free to write back if I can further assist. I know how frustrating it can be and I am more than happy to help you pinpoint those locations that will be able to best serve you.
