    How does ordering on the Mobile App work with food allergies? We will be going at the end of April and my sister has to be both gluten and dairy free. I'd like to be able to order using the Mobile App, but don't know if it will be safe for her.

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Since everyone in my immediate family has food allergies, I can empathize with your dilemma! 

    First, if you have not done so already, be sure to review the information at Special Dietary Requests. I called them today at 407-824-5967 to verify the mobile ordering possibilities. When using mobile ordering, there currently is no way to check allergy menus for restaurants in the My Disney Experience Mobile App

    When we have visited restaurants in the past, we asked cast members for allergy menus. My suggestion would be to check the restaurants when you get to the parks, pick up an allergy menu and/or speak with a cast member at the restaurant. Then, when you are ready to place your mobile order, you will have the information you need. On our last visit, for example, we walked into Satu'li Canteen on Pandora and actually placed our mobile order while standing in the restaurant. Our wait was significantly shorter than the lines to place orders!

    If you want an idea of allergy concerns at each restaurant, there are other online sites that have helpful information. One of my fellow panelists has used Allergyfreemouse.com. Also, be sure that you have noted the food allergies on all of your dining reservations. When we arrive at table-service restaurants, a cast member always has a note of our allergies and, in some cases, they place that note/ticket on the table. In several cases, the chef has come out to talk to us and she or he goes through the menu to let us know what we can or cannot eat. 

    Wendy, we have always received fantastic help with our food allergies and I trust you will as well!
